“Umamica” is an unconventional chair designed exclusively for the Umami fast food restaurant in Zagreb. It is available in three different colours and sizes, tailored to its specific purpose within the restaurant and the amount of time one might spend in a particular zone.
The chair's backrest and seat have been meticulously designed to offer maximum comfort, given the context of a fast food restaurant where customers often have limited time.
Umamica's design aligns seamlessly with the restaurant's overarching concept – that of a creative laboratory. Our primary goal was to infuse elements of research, curiosity, and playfulness into the interior design and its fundamental components.
Consistency in linking the chair with the space is manifested through colourful piping, which appears as the construction base as well as a prominent interior design element.
